Hi Block Fam!
I'm Clarissa, and I'm originally from El Paso, where I trained in Hip Hop and International Latin Ballroom for 12 years. I began my dance career a little later than others and started dancing at 12 years old. I began my internship at New Horizon's Dance Academy at 15 years old and transitioned into coaching at 17. I coached a Hip hop team who did well and won awards in Sun City Dance Classics and other city and statewide competitions. I moved to DFW in 2013 and started teaching Hip Hop in Arlington. Since then I have worked with NCL Southlake, and other organization's throughout DFW. The Block DFW has been my home for the past 3 years and I couldn't ask for a better place to grow and watch these kids grow.
Although Dance is one of my greatest passions, I've always wanted to give back to the community. I've participated in community events that help give back to those who need us the most. My BIGGEST passion is kids and their right to A CREATIVE FUTURE. I wish to always be a positive influence in their lives, as well as the community.
