Middle School Drill Team

The Dragon Gems are acknowledged by both Dawson and Carroll Middle to be the Middle School Dance Team for Carroll ISD. Being a Gem allows you the opportunity to perform, support, and cheer on your middle school through activities such as football games, prep rallies, and community events. The award winning Dragon Gems compete at 2 local drill team competitions per season, some of which are the very same competitions as the Emerald Belles.

The purpose of the Dragon Gems is to prepare middle school dancers for Emerald Belle tryouts in a fun and supportive community full of girls with the same goals and dreams of being a Belle. Dancers can earn off campus PE credits while still being involved in school functions.
