Hello Dance Fam! I’m Jennifer and I’m so glad you’re here.
I’ve been a dance teacher for the past 19 years and a Personal Trainer for three, with a double certification from the nationally recognized Cooper Institute. I’ve worked in Highland Park, Frisco, Southlake, Coppell and Keller as a Studio Drill Company Director and am currently the Programs Director here, at The Block DFW. I lead The Block Dance Co. and the new Southlake Middle School team, the Dragon Gems! My husband, Sean—along with our two kids, Sasha and Brett—keep me busy at home and at characters.io—Dallas, where we bring the magic of superheroes and fairytales to life every day!
As a former Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader and Dallas Mavericks Dancer, I've had the pleasure of performing on many stages across America; but my most honored performance took place overseas in Iraq, Afghanistan and Kuwait. There, I was a USO entertainer for the brave men and who protect our freedom.
As a graduate of the University of North Texas and Kilgore College, I made a trip to Washington, D.C., as a Kilgore College Rangerette, where we performed at the 2000 Presidential Inaugural Ball and Parade. I’ve also had the opportunity to work at the Happiest Place on Earth! I’ve performed in the Animal Kingdom’s Festival of the Lion King, Hollywood Studio's Block Party Bash, Disney’s Electric Light Parade, Magic Kingdom's Day Parade, Fantasmic! and Give Kids the World. I even received the great honor of opening the show, Disney Channel Rocks!
I’ve served and performed for many of our Dallas heroes too with Make A Wish Foundation, Southlake’s National Charity League Fashion Show, Athletes in Action, The Children's Hospital, and many nursing homes and local charities. Dance has also given me the chance to serve as a worship choreographer at Keystone Church in Keller.
I’m so honored to share my passion with you, right here with our #blockfam! Let’s dance!
