Hey y'all! I’m Kimberly! I’m 20 years old and I have been dancing since I was two in the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. I trained as a recreational and competitive dancer in numerous styles from hip hop to ballet. I was awarded high point and judges awards throughout my time as a competitive dancer in the Chicago area. One of my favorite experiences was training under and performing with Reggio "The Hoofer" McLaughlin in The Nut Tapper.  

 

I am currently attending the Online Professional Development Institution through The National Dance Education Organization to obtain my dance teaching certification.  Teaching Theories and Styles, Social-Emotional Learning, Creative Movement for ages 0-5 years, and Dance Kinesiology & Applied Teaching Practice have been my areas of focus.   In these classes I have learned multiple teaching styles, BrainDance theories, and the benefits of dance movement for fine motor skills and brain development.  I enjoy working with dancers of all ages but specialize in early childhood dance education.
