Hi Block Fam! I am Taylor and I am so happy to be dancing with you! I am very passionate and dedicated about bettering myself and others through dance and life!
I started my dance career at the age of three and haven't stopped dancing since! I was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada and have recently relocated to Frisco, Texas! I grew up as a competitive dancer at a studio in Las Vegas from the age of three until I graduated high school.
After high school I attended The University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where I graduated college in 2015 majoring in criminal justice with a minor in communications. While attending UNLV I also was on the Rebel Girls Dance Team, and in 2013 took home the UDA National Championship in Division 1A Hip Hop. During my four years on the team the Rebel Girls consistently placed top two in Division 1A Hip Hop and top three in Division 1A Pom at UDA College Nationals. For 3 years I was also the coach of the UNLV Scarlet Dance Line, who danced with the band at football and basketball games.
Aside from dancing with the UNLV Rebel Girls and coaching, I also joined as a staff member of UDA and Varsity in 2013. I taught dance camps at the high school and college level and was also selected to be on the choreography team to create dances used at camps and parades across the nation! I have also been fortunate to travel internationally to teach dancers and coaches all around the world. I lived and taught dance in China for 6 months, and have traveled within the United States, and internationally to Italy, Chile, Ireland, Finland, and more!
I am currently living in Texas and have continued to spread my love of dance with the Lone Star State! Along with teaching dance classes, I am currently a backup dancer for the Britney Spears tribute band "TOXIC." I am loving all of the opportunities Texas has had to offer! My life has revolved around dance and I am grateful to continue my journey here at The Block!
